GARRISON STANDING ORDER (GSO6): REINSTATEMENT AND DISCHARGE STATUSES

Any soldier in good standing with the military may request a honourable discharge by posting a resignation in the appropriate board. An individual is not in good standing if they are serving a temporary demotion, under known Royal Military Police (RMP) investigation, or are missing due work from their Armed Forces Department (AFD). A soldier who resigns in poor standing may be subject to dishonourable discharge. This may be nullified under the discretion of the Chief of the General Staff (CGS), Assistant Chief of the General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC), the Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) or the Director of the Army Personnel Centre (DAPC).
REINSTATEMENT FROM AN HONOURABLE DISCHARGE
A soldier who has been honourably discharged and has been so for at least 21 days may be reinstated with no demotion. Any soldier who requests a reinstatement prior to 21 days is subject to a one-rank demotion. No individual will be reinstated into any rank higher than OF-4 (Major), regardless of rank at resignation. This may be nullified under the discretion of the Chief of the General Staff (CGS), Assistant Chief of the General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC), Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) or the Director of the Army Personnel Centre (DAPC) directly, however, it is more than likely you are to complete a reinstatement form which is directed to the Army Personnel Centre (APC) to make a review and follow their procedures with regards to reinstating any previous personnel from GOVBAF-MIL.
AWOL/DESERTION
Desertion; Any soldier who has not logged onto the forums and/or the Habbo client for 10 days, and has not requested a leave of absence is subject to be labelled as a deserter/AWOL. If this is your first time going AWOL you will be placed onto the British Army Reserves (AR) with immediate effect and you will receive a one-rank demotion when you return. A soldier who has not returned 4 days following the end of their requested leave of absence is also considered a desertion.
Reinstatement; A soldier who has been labelled as a deserter (for the second time) may be reinstated with a potential two-rank demotion subject to the reinstating officer's discretion. No individual will be reinstated into any rank higher than OF-3 (Captain) unless nullified by the Chief of the General Staff (CGS), Assistant Chief of General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC), Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) or the Director of the Army Personnel Centre (DAPC) directly, however, it is more than likely you are to complete a reinstatement form which is directed to the Army Personnel Centre (APC) to make a review and follow their procedures with regards to reinstating any previous personnel from GOVBAF-MIL.
DISHONOURABLE DISCHARGE
Fate of a Dishonoured Personnel; Any soldier who has violated military policy or has displayed poor conduct may be subject to dishonourable discharge. An Officer may only dishonourably discharge soldier within their promotion scale and is to be used only as a last resort after warnings and demotions that have not corrected the issue.
*ONLY THE Chief of the General Staff (CGS), Assistant Chief of the General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC), Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) or the Director of the Army Personnel Centre (DAPC) HAS THE THE AUTHORITY TO DISCHARGE A COMMISSIONED OFFICER (OF-1+).
REINSTATEMENT
A soldier who has been dishonourably discharged is ineligible for reinstatement. In order to be re-enlisted, the individual must receive a pardon from the Chief of the General Staff (CGS), Assistant Chief of the General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC) or the Judge Advocate General (JAG). All pardon requests must be sent to the JAG.
NEVER REHIRE
A soldier who has been listed as Never Rehire (commonly known as 'NR') will only be given a pardon directly from the Chief of the General Staff (CGS) with regards to that situation; Which in regards to the situation the Assistant Chief of the General Staff (ACGS), Commander Land Forces (CLF), Military Secretary (MILSEC), Judge Advocate General (JAG) and the Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) would assist the Chief of the General Staff (CGS) in that decision, regarding the offence, location, date and time.
