STANDING OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP4): Infraction System
PUBLISH DATE: 29 DEC 17
REVIEW DATE: 29 JUL 19
The Class Infraction System has been established by the Office of the Provost Marshal of the Army (OPMA) to ensure that personnel who have committed any wrong doings will be reprimanded accordingly. This System is split into four separate classes, each class having a requirement of rank or position (within the OPMA) required before an infraction can be issued.
Personnel are not authorised to issue infractions to superiors. When found in a situation where you have witnessed a superior committing unlawful acts, you are provided with two options; complete the Action Request Form which must be sent to the Provost Marshal of the Army (PMA) as soon as possible or find another superior who can deal with the situation accordingly. With both options provided, it is important that you have acquired the correct evidence.
